[slides into frame]
Good morning. Got up 15 minutes earlier today. It was still dark out. It was so early I think gangsters were still finishing up their gun fights.
Just kidding, Mom. Here in Chicago, gangsters shoot each other during the day too.
[Eazy-E song (with the f words replaced by dings) plays over footage of Craig making eggs over easy]
Eggs over Eazy-E. [takes bite] Mmm. These are some real mother*ding*in' eggs in the hood, yo.
I vow to never talk like that again. Sorry.
This is probably the first time I've cooked eggs since the Clinton administration. Eggs just reminded me too much of all the abortions that wouldn't be happening if Roe vs Wade were overturned and then I'd get upset.
There's a little breakfast politics for you. Breakfatics?
Anyway, yesterday I did discover that coming into work after two cups of coffee and breakfast really did make me feel better. And I didn't crash anymore than usual at around 4. There might be something to this early morning breakfast thing.
Thanks for all the comments. I'm surprised more of you didn't say you prefer natural peanut butter. I guess it's kind of annoying because you have to stir the oil every day. Yeah, I hate doing extra things too.
So you'll notice there's a poll in the sidebar ... so you'll notice there's a poll in the sidebar of my blog about, uh, if breakfast makes the day better for you. Why don't you take a vote? It's truly a scientific study. I'm going to take all the results and send it to the Society for the Betterment of All Citizens of the Globe or SFBACOG. They'll take all the data and combine it with all of their other data to eventually create a global domination of peace and prosperity.
It's really early.
I think tomorrow I'll answer Chris' question about whether, uh, Twitter is stupid. Do you use Twitter? If so, what do you think of it?
Right when I'm about to finish up, I notice that Amelia left a comment saying she uses natural peanut butter. I figured as much. That's so Amelia.
Alright, Emily, it's winkin' time.
